At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)

Friends of TEDx tickets offer a full-day pass to both conference sessions, plus your names are displayed as donors to TEDx on the TEDxMemphis website and you are showcased and thanked at the conference. TEDxMemphis is a local nonprofit that relies on community support to produce our annual talks. Since launching in 2015, TEDxMemphis has produced 59 TED Talks from innovative speakers showcasing groundbreaking ideas that have the potential to shape our city and our world.
