Below is some information regarding our upcoming event…

 Thank you for your interest in volunteer opportunities with our next event we are supporting at Saving Lost Kids. Our next event is Saturday, October 30^th at the Atoka Railroad Amusement Park in Atoka, TN. We are supporting Atoka Railroads day-long event, between the hours of 12 (noon) – 4pm. Volunteers will assist in working with children as we supply our “Passport for Safety” Child/Teen ID packets and safety education. Each volunteer will be assigned to one specific task, for example: Fingerprints, height, weight, escort, photography, DNA, preparation, signup, etc.  We ask volunteers to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to our start time, which is at 12(noon), so that we can welcome and prepare. 

We do ask for a list of volunteers names at least 3 days before the event, so that we can screen names against various child abuse registries. Dress code is casual, non-provocative clothing appropriate for the outdoor weather. You are welcome to dress in a costume, although many volunteers will not be. If you do choose to dress up, please refrain from anything bloody or gore, since we do not want to be scary for small kids. We will be under tents most of the time, but remember it will be sunny. Water will be provided, but due to the 4hr timeframe, we will not be supplying a meal at this event.

MORE INFO ABOUT THE ACTUAL ATOKA RAILROAD EVENT:

Atoka Railroads first ever Halloween event. It will include rides, costume contest, hayrides, hand-dipped corn dogs and more. If your child comes dressed in a Halloween costume they will be able to trick or treat at each attraction. We will also be having a costume contest and the winner will receive a $30 play card! All we ask is that you do not wear a costume with blood or gore seeing that we have small kids here. We hope to see you all here! Get ready for Halloween to take over Atoka Railroad.
