Flyway Comedy Club (formerly High Cotton Comedy Club) showcases the funniest touring and local underground comedians we can find to Memphis audiences the last Saturday of every month. This month, we've got TWO (2) very funny co-headliners in from out of town--actress and comedian, Alyx Libby, out of Atlanta and Memphis Comedy Festival alum, Alex La, out of NYC--performing on this one. Hosted by co-producer Ryan Bush and featuring tba creatures we've found being funny in other bars around Memphis, this'll be fun! Come have a drink and be stupid with us for a bit.
Doors open at 7, show starts at 8. Tickets are $10 online, but $15 at the door, so get them ahead of time.
About Alyx Libby:
Alyx is a nationally touring actor-turned-comic. You can see her onstage at clubs such as The Comedy Zone, The Laughing Skull Lounge, The Comedy Fort, Gregory's Upstairs Comedy Club and Limelight Theater, where she also produces A-List Comedy Competition. She's performed at Limestone Comedy Festival, 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival and West End Comedy Festival. Her TV credits include Showtime, BET and Oxygen and her most recent special can be seen on OFTV. Originally from Florida, she is currently based out of Atlanta where there is unfortunately not a beach.
About Alex La:
Alex is a current NYC-based comic but has called both Boston and Chicago his comedy homes as well. He was a regular at The Laugh Factory, Zanies and Don't Tell and has opened for national headliners such as Sammy Obeid and Eugene Mirman. He's been a part of the Memphis Comedy Festival and 10,000 Laughs and mostly recently performed at Edinburgh Fringe 2024.
Tickets are $10 online, but $15 at the door, so please get them in advance. Street parking by the venue is free after 6 PM.
